How does it work? Give the link of your article to Speaky and thats it. It will extract the main content, detect the language, and read it out loud to you. You can retrieve content from your favorite websites (RSS feeds supported), import files from the cloud (pdf, doc, png, etc.), or scan documents with your camera.

Very useful if you are driving and wants to listen to saved sites.
I havent used Speaky as much as I thought I would - mainly because there arent enough free hours to listen as much as I want. Its surprisingly easy to use. Love it.
Great app. I use this app when Im on the go doing other tasks or dont feel like reading, and just copy an paste ebooks and articles in to the app. This is a great app for all you readers out there. This app is great when my eyes sting, but I still want to go through an ebook.
I wish I had this app for the last time I had laryngitis!
This app is much simpler to use yet does so much more.
This app is very good! It makes documents accessible for those that have difficulty reading or time constraints. What a find!
From picking up the text from a web page to manually entering a text, this app reads for you.
The audio is great and it allows you to listen to info that is just text on the web.
One other neat aspect is the ability to edit the text that has been captured by the app, this allowed you to quote text if needed.
Some bad moments
I encounter this issue very often; it is useless unless it has to be fixed.
Still lacks of RSS-Atom feeds / OPML list import integration, so you must manually copy & paste every link or text in the ap, The only alternative is the Pocket flux..!!! USELESS
You can make SIRI read aloud without this app simply selecting a text e.g. on Safari and them press “read" .. And it is expensive, too
I love this app. I normally get discouraged half way a long report. I am not the best reader. My mind wanders while reading but I am a good listener. So speaky works for me. I hope it never goes away.

The first article I imported to Speaky only offers German as the language spoken.
The second article I imported to Speaky quits after about 10 minutes; it is over four hours.
The speed adjustment is quite coarse; OTOH, it does adjust fast enough for me, and I imagine, slow enough for anyone.
And your report a problem link doesn’t go anywhere I can report anything!
Idea is great, but the voices are terribly robotic and jumpy. I didnt enjoy half of the article I was able to listen to.
Worked for 1 day then crashed. Havent been able to open it since and I have deleted. Not worth it.
